Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform a variety of radiation therapy treatments, simulations, and treatment planning in accordance with physician prescriptions and instructions
- Fabricate specialized treatment aids and execute set-ups across all treatment sites within a comprehensive cancer center
- Operate a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR to deliver treatments using modalities including 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electrons
- Treat approximately 25–30 patients per day
- Assess patient data and apply knowledge of growth and development across the life span to identify and address age-specific patient needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible radiation therapy or imaging technologist experience demonstrating thorough knowledge of imaging procedures and techniques
- Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T)
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist (must be obtained by assignment start date)
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Familiarity with a broad range of treatment sites in a comprehensive oncology setting
