Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform a variety of radiation therapy treatments, simulations, and treatment planning in accordance with physician prescriptions and instructions
• Fabricate specialized treatment aids as required for individual patient care plans
• Operate a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and manage treatments across all sites within a comprehensive cancer center setting
• Deliver treatment modalities including 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electrons, treating approximately 25–30 patients per day
• Assess patient data and apply knowledge of growth and development across the life span to identify and address age-specific patient needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible radiation therapy or imaging technologist experience demonstrating thorough knowledge of imaging procedures and techniques
• Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy (T)
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist (must be obtained prior to assignment start date)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a comprehensive cancer center environment with a broad range of treatment sites and modalities
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
