Radiation Therapist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–8:00 PM depending on unit needs) | No weekends, no on-call
Key Responsibilities- Deliver radiation treatments to a high-volume patient population of approximately 60–70 patients per day, including adult, geriatric, and occasional adolescent patients
- Operate advanced treatment platforms including TrueBeam, Ethos, and MRI-LinAc systems
- Perform CBCT/kV/mV imaging and apply respiratory gating techniques as part of daily treatment delivery
- Administer external beam therapy modalities including IMRT and Stereotactic Radiosurgery
- Treat patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses including prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials, brain tumors, and other complex oncology cases
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC
Required Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of Radiation Therapy experience required
- Active ARRT (T) certification required
- Active California state Radiation Therapist license required (must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted)
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with Varis Vision/ARIA and TrueBeam platforms required
- Demonstrated experience in adult outpatient radiation oncology, radiation safety, IMRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and treatment of prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials
Preferred Experience / Skills- 5 or more years of Radiation Therapy experience preferred
- Experience with CT Simulation, custom molds, Siemens, Varian 21ex/ix, Varian Trilogy, and Vision RT systems
- Familiarity with treatment of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, kidney cancer, leukemia, pancreatic cancer, and testicular cancer
- Experience assisting with intracavity/interstitial administration, billing for treatment types and devices, and use of rapid response/code teams
