Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8-Hour Days (8:00–16:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate LINAC equipment to deliver prescribed and planned courses of radiation therapy to patients
• Assist in the use and fabrication of positioning or restraining devices, accomplish patient set-ups, portal adjustments, and interpret prescriptions
• Assist in tumor localization and dosimetry procedures, and perform CT clinical simulation procedures
• Maintain close observation and supervision of patients in the treatment room throughout the course of treatment
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to organize simulation schedules and ensure no delays occur
• Maintain and practice radiation safety in accordance with ALARA principles, apply appropriate patient care, and capture patient charges accurately

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required and must be active at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and must be active at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience
• Active and unrestricted applicable license with no open or unresolved findings
• Education verification required at time of submission (associate's or bachelor's degree, as applicable)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred
• Experience participating in the training or supervision of radiation therapy students
