Radiation Therapist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts with 0700–0800 start time
Key Responsibilities- Set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed.
- Assess patient status during direct patient interaction and make appropriate referrals to health care team members.
- Prepare for treatment delivery, including chart and film checks, room set-up, calculations, electronic medical record review, and treatment calendar programming.
- Perform patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning purposes as needed.
- Collaborate with other radiation therapists and team members to complete additional tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience.
- Active ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification.
- Active California Radiation Therapy Technologist (CA RTT) license.
- Current BLS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator.
- Experience with MOSAIQ electronic medical record system.
