Radiation Therapist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 5x8s | No weekends, holidays, or call requirements
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily external beam radiation treatments including IMRT and SBRT for an adult outpatient population
- Operate Varian TrueBeam equipment to deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments
- Utilize Aria record and verify system to document and manage treatment delivery
- Provide patient education surrounding the treatment process and plan of care
- Occasionally float to other locations within the health system as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Virginia Radiation Therapist license required at time of submittal
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam equipment
- Proficiency with Aria record and verify system
Preferred Experience / Skills- Familiarity with Epic EMR
- Experience delivering SBRT and IMRT treatments in an outpatient oncology setting
