Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans
- Maintain a patient caseload at an expected ratio of 20 patients per Radiation Therapist
- Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment to ensure accurate and safe delivery of treatment
- Document patient treatment records and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Radiation Therapist license (compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience required
- Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility to qualify under local rate guidelines
- Must be available to work 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a pediatric or trauma center environment
- Familiarity with pediatric patient populations and associated care considerations
