Radiation Therapist – Travel

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | No Weekends
Key Responsibilities- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety and clinical protocols
- Position patients accurately for treatment and ensure proper delivery of prescribed radiation doses
- Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and the clinical care team throughout the treatment process
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
- Active Kansas Radiation Therapist license (RADTHER-KS) required
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy – ARRT(T) required
- Credentialing documentation must be submitted and completed prior to start date
- Overtime must receive pre-approval before being worked
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a travel therapy or multi-site clinical setting
- Familiarity with a variety of radiation therapy equipment and treatment planning systems
