Key Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments using Varian linear accelerators, including IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT techniques
• Operate and document within the Varian ARIA Oncology Information System (EMR) for treatment planning and patient records
• Manage an expected patient load of approximately 25 patients per linear accelerator per day, plus CT simulation patients
• Provide care to a mixed patient population spanning pediatric through adult age ranges
• Work under the supervision of on-site Radiation Oncologists and a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Technologist
• Participate in a department-specific orientation program prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• ARRT registration as a Radiation Therapist required
• West Virginia state license required
• BLS certification required
• Hands-on experience with Varian Treatment Machines (TrueBeam preferred) and the Varian ARIA EMR
• Demonstrated experience with IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT treatment modalities
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Familiarity with Varian Trilogy and Siemens Somatom Go.Open CT simulation equipment
• Comfort treating both adult and pediatric oncology patients
• Prior experience managing a high-volume treatment workload in a busy radiation oncology department
