Key Responsibilities- Deliver quality patient care through the administration of radiation therapy treatments in accordance with nationally accepted standards of practice.
- Perform treatment simulations and fabricate all necessary shielding blocks for patient procedures.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) throughout the course of patient care.
- Prepare equipment for patient treatments, including performing quality control and assurance tests.
- Ensure proper infection control techniques and adhere to optimal radiation safety and protection practices.
- Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff and support interdisciplinary cooperation.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapist experience required.
- ARRT (T) certification required.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- 1 year of travel experience required, OR post-graduation work experience with Varian and ARIA systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with TrueBeam treatment delivery system preferred.
- Experience with ARIA and Trilogy systems preferred.
