Radiation Therapist – Oncology (Days)

Pittsfield, MA

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift

• Administer radiation treatments, simulations, and dosimetry functions under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist in both scheduled and emergent environments
• Fabricate blocks and perform other preparation activities in advance of patient treatment
• Manage the daily treatment schedule for all assigned clinical equipment
• Observe and demonstrate familiarity with all safety features across clinical areas
• Collaborate closely with reception, nursing, and physician teams to support patient care
• Update procedure manuals as needed and attend all mandatory education sessions

• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience required
• Active Massachusetts Radiology license required
• Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Current Radiation Therapist Skills Checklist (within the past year) required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required

• Previous travel assignment experience preferred
• Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high-stress, work-intensive environment
