Radiation Therapist – Oncology

Tucson, AZ

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, shifts may vary between 8–10 hours per day with an expectation of 40 hours worked per week

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients using Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators
• Accurately position patients and verify treatment parameters prior to each session
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to any changes in condition
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the oncology care team including physicians and dosimetrists to ensure treatment plan integrity
• Adhere to all radiation safety protocols and compliance requirements throughout the assignment

• Minimum of 24 months of Radiation Therapy experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active Arizona state license to practice Radiation Therapy with no disciplinary actions on record
• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or ASHI
• Valid driver's license required to verify residency
• Radiation Therapy skills checklist completed within the last 12 months

• Previous travel therapy assignment experience is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience operating Varian TrueBeam equipment
