Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 8-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans
• Operate Varian TrueBeam and IX linear accelerators as well as Aria software for treatment delivery and documentation
• Apply knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology in daily clinical practice
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
• Maintain all required registries and licenses throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Radiation Therapy license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of one year of radiation therapy experience
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Specific experience and advanced training in Radiology
• Hands-on experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or IX linear accelerator systems
• Familiarity with Aria oncology information system
