Looking for ASAP start! M-F scheduled days may vary; 10 hour shifts 0700-1700 with a half hour lunch; previous travel experience is preferred but not required; must have 2 years of experience. Equipment is Varian TrueBeams.

Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation regulations.
Achieve performance targets and contribute to team success.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment processes.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
Conduct quality assurance checks on radiation equipment.
Evaluate and implement new technologies in radiation therapy.
Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid certification as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited institution.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and radiation regulations compliance.
Proven experience in administering radiation therapy treatments to diverse patient populations.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and participation in training programs.
Ability to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans effectively.
Excellent communication skills to explain treatment processes to patients.
Experience collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance patient care.
Ability to conduct quality assurance checks on radiation therapy equipment.
Willingness to evaluate and implement new technologies in radiation therapy.
Experience in training and mentoring new staff members effectively.
