Job Summary – Radiologic Technologist / General Radiographer (Travel)
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer
Location: Elmhurst, NY
Job Category: Acute Care – Allied
Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, alternating weekends and holidays required
Training: 2 weeks (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), including EPIC training
Interview: In-Person
- Minimum 2 years of General Radiographer experience in an acute care hospital (per schedule requirements).
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or approved Military Radiology Training.
- Experience in an acute care setting.
- Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills.
- Experience using electronic medical records; EPIC experience is beneficial.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous EPIC experience.
- Experience with digital radiography systems.
- Strong knowledge of radiation protection and quality assurance procedures.
