Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for an orthopedic walk-in clinic setting, requiring ARRT and SCRQSA certification.

Details

• Work in an orthopedic walk-in clinic focusing on acute injuries
• 40 hour per week position with flexible hours between 0730-2000
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required
• SCRQSA certification required
• License required if applicable
• Strong knowledge of radiography, anatomy, and pathology terminology
• Strong interpersonal skills with a pleasant bedside manner

Additional Information

• Prepare equipment and examination rooms for patient exams
• Position, monitor, and ensure patient safety during exams
• Document patient information and report findings to physicians
• Produce diagnostic images and administer targeted doses of radiation as ordered by physician
• Administer trace amounts of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
• Measure bone mineral density at specific anatomical sites
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold facility policies
• Keep work area neat and organized
• Demonstrate willingness to assist with other department duties when needed
