Schedule
This position offers a varied schedule consisting of 36 hours per week. The shifts include:
- Week 1:
- Sunday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Monday and Tuesday from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Week 2:
- Thursday and Friday from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Saturday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Job Description
The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing imaging procedures that assist in diagnosing various medical conditions. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a healthcare team while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining patient care standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray imaging procedures according to established standards and protocols.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report issues to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive care approach.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology.
- ARRT certification preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic charting preferred.
- Must be willing to float within the hospital as needed.
