Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations using Philips MRI systems, selecting appropriate coils and protocols to optimize image quality while ensuring patient safety.
- Position and immobilize patients, monitor for safety during scanning, and respond to patient needs during procedures.
- Review orders in the electronic medical record (Epic), document procedures, and ensure accurate data entry; communicate with radiologists as needed.
- Administer or coordinate contrast agents per protocol, monitor for adverse reactions, and follow contrast safety guidelines.
- Maintain equipment and room readiness, perform basic quality checks, and report malfunctions to appropriate teams.
- Coordinate scheduling within a flexible framework (no on-call; 1–2 weekends per month; Monday–Sunday coverage) and adhere to department policies and patient safety standards.

Requirements
- Active ARRT MRI or ARMRIT license; MR advanced licensure required
- BLS certification
- Philips MRI experience required
- Epic experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Licensing on file at time of submission
- Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging setting; flexible with schedule, including weekends and night shifts
