Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations with emphasis on patient safety, proper protocol, and image quality
- Operate MRI equipment (Siemens Espree preferred) and, when needed, CT capability with IV contrast in accordance with NY regulations
- Administer IV contrast for CT studies when required, ensuring proper injection technique and patient monitoring
- Position patients, screen for contraindications, and apply safety precautions per MRI/contrast protocols
- Document procedures and results in the Epic charting system; coordinate with radiologists and the care team
- Maintain equipment, prepare examination rooms, and support a smooth patient flow in an outpatient imaging setting
- Demonstrate adaptability for potential intra-system float within scope of practice

Requirements
- ARRT-MR certification (required)
- New York State permanent Radiology license in hand prior to start (temporary licenses not accepted)
- IV contrast/injection certification (required to administer contrast for CT in NY)
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (CT capability desirable)
- MRI equipment experience with Siemens Espree preferred
- Epic experience preferred; ability to work in an outpatient clinic setting within a hospital-affiliated environment
