Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures across multiple radiology modalities (including CT, fluoroscopy, radiography, MRI, nuclear medicine, sonography or PET) as assigned, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
- Operate imaging equipment, optimize technique, and adhere to radiation safety guidelines; verify patient identity and orders; position patients correctly.
- Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, assess contraindications, and monitor for adverse reactions or discomfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians; communicate findings within established turnaround times; participate in on-call rotations (two nights per week).
- Maintain accurate documentation and image integrity; assist with routine quality control and basic equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and regulatory requirements (CA Fluoro, CA radiography, CT and IV certs; ARRT certifications; BLS).

Requirements
- California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license/registration active in-state
- ARRT certification required; current certification in one modality and ability to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography or PET) with ARRT-R and an allowed modality-path (e.g., ARRT-CT, ARRT-M, ARRT-MRI, ARMRIT, ARRT-NMT, SNMT, ARRT-S, RDMS, RDCS, CCI-RCS, RTPET)
- CA Fluoroscopy and CA radiography, CT and IV certifications
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree preferred
- Three years of technical imaging experience preferred
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- Ability to work in a high-volume, on-call travel assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting
