Job Summary

An exciting opportunity for nurses looking to work in the dynamic field of Diagnostic Imaging is available. This role is centered at a newly built ambulatory orthopedic center in City, State. Nurses will be responsible for preparing patients for various imaging studies, including CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast as needed during imaging studies.
• Utilize excellent critical thinking skills in patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and ensure comfort during procedures.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Strong critical thinking and intravenous (IV) skills are essential.
• Experience with contrast administration is preferred.

Certifications

• BLS from the American Heart Association (mandatory).
• ACLS from the American Heart Association (preferred).
• PALS from the American Heart Association (preferred).
• Experience in telemetry is required.

Schedule

This position requires rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, along with on-call and callback responsibilities as needed based on unit requirements.
