Job Summary
Radiology Nurse in the specialty of Radiology is located at the healthcare organization. The role involves delivering nursing practices based on current evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care to ensure safe and high-quality patient care. This position supports assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes specific to radiology patients, including coverage of imaging procedures such as CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine/Pet. Essential duties include evaluating patients, assisting physicians, and managing evidence-based nursing interventions.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evenings shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN degree, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and a minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians in patient care.
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
  • Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Perform age and disease-specific assessments, data collection, and recognize clinical changes.
  • Conduct therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and support adoption of innovations in care delivery.
  • Document care based on standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
  • Recognize variables in patient/family education needs based on age, disease, and cultural differences.
  • No float rotation required.
• Other Requirements:
  • Must have experience with allergy reactions, port access, and IV insertion.
  • Submission of relevant certifications and licensure documents is required.
