Job Highlights

• Interventional Radiology RN
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• No routine floating
• Two IR suites, one holding area, and one CT procedure room
• Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital for call coverage
• Expanse EMR

Required License / Certifications

• Active RN license required at submission
• BLS
• ACLS

Required Experience

• Experience in a procedural department, ICU, Critical Care, or Emergency Department
• Moderate sedation experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced procedural environment

Preferred Experience

• Interventional Radiology
• Cardiac Cath Lab
• Additional moderate sedation experience

Common Procedures

• Angiograms
• Neuro angiograms/interventions
• Cerebral coiling
• Carotid stenting
• Mechanical thrombectomy (PE)
• Embolectomy
• Biopsies
• Kyphoplasty
• Epidural steroid injections (ESI)
• Hip injections
• Paracentesis
• Thoracentesis
• Renal microwave ablations

Unit Details

• 2 Interventional Radiology suites (Single Plane & Bi-Plane)
• 1 CT procedure room
• 1 holding area
• 5 RNs
• 5 Technologists
• Philips Bi-Plane and Single Plane imaging systems
• GE monitoring equipment

Call Requirements

• 1–2 call nights per week
• Weekend call based on department needs
• Flexibility to pick up additional call when needed

Ideal Candidate

• Strong critical care or procedural background
• Comfortable working independently
• Team-oriented and efficient in a procedural setting
