Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification required. Radiology state license preferred where applicable. Alabama requires ARRT; no separate state x-ray license for AL.
  • BLS certification required.
  • CT registry and ARRT CT certification required for CT responsibilities. MRI registry preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience. Will consider candidates with 1 year if experience strongly aligns with required skills.
  • Required skills: fluoroscopy experience, surgical radiography experience, portable x-ray, trauma and diagnostic procedures. CT skills must include angiography and biopsy/drainage procedures. Stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with GE and Siemens x-ray/fluoroscopy equipment, Konica DR, Carestream and GE portables preferred.
  • Ability to work with inpatient and outpatient populations and occasionally pediatric patients in ED settings.
  • Willingness to float within the hospital radiology department to cover multiple modalities and areas.
  • Preferred: O-arm experience. DEXA experience is a plus but not required.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 07:30–19:30 (12-hour shifts; schedule listed as 3x12).
  • Orientation: 1–8 hour hospital orientation plus 2–3 shifts on unit (dayshift with another tech).
  • Patient Types: Inpatient and outpatient; adult and occasional pediatrics.
  • Patient Ratio: Typically 1:1; average throughput about 4 patients per hour (approximately 40 patients per day).
  • Weekend rotation: Yes; typically about once per month.
  • On-call: Voluntary.
  • Floating: Yes, floating throughout the hospital radiology department.
