Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification required. Radiology state license preferred where applicable. ARRT certification in CT required for CT procedures.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of radiologic technology experience preferred. Candidates with 1 year may be considered if they demonstrate strong experience with the required skills.
  • Fluoroscopy experience required.
  • Surgery and portable radiography experience required.
  • Trauma and diagnostic radiography experience required. Experience with O-arm preferred. DEXA experience is a plus.
  • Experience with CT and MRI preferred. Facility prefers CT/MRI registry and state licensure when applicable.
  • Experience with Cerner EMR and radiology equipment such as GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms, Konica DR, Siemens x-ray rooms, GE and Carestream portables preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to float throughout the hospital radiology areas as needed.

Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital (Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Primary Stroke Center).
  • Duration: 13 week travel assignment.
  • Standard hours per week: 40.
  • Shift name: Mid Shift. Schedule noted as Mids on a 4x10 pattern.
  • Shift times: 12-hour, 10-hour, or 8-hour shifts may be scheduled (per facility scheduling).
  • Patient types: Inpatient and outpatient; primarily adult with occasional pediatrics in outpatient/ED.
  • Typical patient volume: Average 4 patients per hour (approximately 40 patients per day). Patient ratio 1:1.
  • Orientation: 1 eight-hour hospital orientation plus 2–3 unit shifts on days with another tech.
  • Weekend rotation: Yes, varies (typically about once per month).
  • On-call: Voluntary on-call program.
  • Floating: Yes. Candidates will float within the hospital radiology department to different areas.
  • Scheduling system: Smart Square. No self-scheduling.
  • Scrub color: Any. Parking: Free.
