Job Title: Radiology Tech Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience in fluoro, OR, portable imaging, and emergency department flow Description: The radiology department serves various patient types including emergency department, inpatient, observation, and outpatient. The department performs an average of 120 studies daily, with increased volume during the week and decreased on weekends. Imaging services including X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine are offered. Radiology nursing support is available. Department maintains a high inpatient census, typically operating at full capacity. The ideal candidate must be proficient in various imaging techniques, particularly in emergency and portable settings. The radiology tech will collaborate with transport services for inpatient and observation patients. Candidates should have experience working with EMR systems such as Epic, as well as RIS and PACS technologies. Additional skills required include familiarity with specific imaging equipment used within the department. There is an expectation for flexibility in scheduling, including on-call shifts as needed. Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays as part of their agreement. Manager approval is required for any requested time off.
