  • Weekly Pay: $1950 to $2150
Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Operate digital radiography equipment while ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Review completed images for quality and accuracy before submitting them for interpretation
  • Administer imaging procedures in accordance with radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions to ensure a positive experience
  • Perform routine equipment quality assurance checks and report maintenance concerns
  • Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental policies
  • Assist with patient transport and positioning as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Active Michigan Radiologic Technologist License, if required by state regulations
  • Current ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Radiology Technologist experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Experience with digital radiography and PACS systems preferred
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, and radiation safety
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic excellence
