Position Overview
McLaren Oakland is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to provide general X-ray imaging services and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
The Radiologic Technologist will perform imaging procedures according to hospital policies, professional standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities- Perform general X-ray/radiographic examinations according to established protocols.
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
- Follow radiation safety practices and infection-control standards.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain professional standards and comply with medical center policies.
- Perform duties in accordance with applicable regulatory and professional guidelines.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately.
