Radiologic Technologist - Travel Opportunity


Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This opportunity is based in Charlotte, NC at a hospital setting.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT registration (ARRT-R).
  • State licensure if required by law for North Carolina.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical radiology experience. Preference given to candidates with experience in high-volume, fast-paced hospital environments and experience with adult and pediatric patients.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
  • Familiarity with department equipment preferred: Shimadzu RadSpeed general rad room, Intelli-C multipurpose, Konica and Shimadzu portables, GE and Siemens R/F rooms.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Primary specialty: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray).
  • Shift: Nights 2300-0700 (5x8).
  • Duration: 26 week travel assignment.
  • Patient population: Adults and pediatrics from ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across a full spectrum of radiology exams.
  • Orientation: Facility and departmental tour. Approximately 5 days of departmental orientation, flexible based on traveler needs.
  • Scheduling notes: Travelers work consistent shift per contract. Call and holiday coverage required per departmental rotation and contract terms.
  • Floating: No floating to other facilities.


Key Role Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic exams for adult and pediatric patients across inpatient, emergency, ICU, and outpatient settings.
  • Operate radiography equipment including portable units and R/F rooms following department protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety, accurate identification, and proper positioning for high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Document procedures and enter records into EPIC or other assigned EMR.
  • Collaborate with technologists, lead techs, modality supervisors, and imaging managers to maintain workflow and quality standards.
