50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE LICENSING HITS MUST BE DISCLOSED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION - General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): BLS, WV Xray License WV CARES REQUIRED PRIOR TO START - Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: BLS,ARRT, WV Xray License (See General Radiology Cert Overview Below) - How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: "4 rooms; 3 general xray, 1 fluoro, 2 portable, & 3 C-Arms Staffing: 6-7 Techs 0600-1700, 3-4 Techs on Evenings, and 1 Tech on Midnights" - Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Yes, will float between general department, fluoro, & OR - Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: General Xray studies, OR Cases (cystos, ortho, GI), Fluoro cases (ortho & GI) - Experience or 'Must have' skills: "Must be able to function in all areas including General Xray, Portables, OR, & Fluoro Will accept first time travelers" - Average # of scans/studies per day: 110/day - What EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use?: EMR- Community Works PACS-Intellirad/Intelliconnect - Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): C-arms OEC, Portables-GE AMX with DR-Konica Dagnostic Rooms-Del Medical,Siemens,Philips - Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech?: Imaging Director and Manager M-F Daylight and always available via telephone Lead tech most afternoon shifts - Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No - Radiologist in-house 24/7?: Yes until 5pm, then on call, Vrad covers interpreting 2a-6a - Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department): No - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling?
