Part time agency need to help cover a maternity leave for 12 weeks.
Ability to work independently in the OR and fluoro is a must.
On the week where it is your weekend you would work M, T, Sat and the following week Sun, M, T
If additional shifts are available and you want them you can work more than the contracted hours.
About Facility:
o Elkhorn, WI 53121
o Small community hospital
o 64 Licensed Beds
o AAH will require the Covid vaccine
General Information
o Beds: Portable
o Experience: 1-2 years
o First-time traveler: Yes, only with acute care setting experience
o Will transfer high acuity patients to Aurora St. Luke s Medical Center in Milwaukee
o Open 24/7/365
Patient Types:
o Inpatient, Outpatient, ED, OR
Covid & PPE:
o Conventional PPE
o N95
Patient Ratios:
o 1:1
Required Certifications:
o BLS
o ARRT
o WI license (in hand prior to interview/offer)
Skills required
o Basic X-rays, Fluoroscopy experience (3 cases/week) (preferred), able to operate OR C-arm (GS OCE) (preferred),
o Ask questions pertaining to facility protocols
o Must already have WI licensure to be considered
Support on the Unit:
o Department Supervisor
o Other techs within radiology
o Receptionist (Days only)
Charting System/Equipment:
o EPIC experience preferred
o GE
o Cannon/Fuji portable Xray interface
Floating:
o None
Orientation:
o First day- gain login access, get badge, complete modules
o Days 2-3 Precept with core tech, learn flow
Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: every 3rd weekend ( can vary, based on needs)
o Approve up to 7 days, additional days email Manager Jennifer Wright
o 36h/week
o 8H shifts
o Start between 0630-0800 start time could be between that range
o 8 week scheduling period, will receive 1-2 weeks prior
o No on-call
o Holidays: based on needs
