Pay Rate = $42/hr, $1246 stipend

Description of job:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with radiation safety standards. The X-Ray Technician will work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and quality patient care.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R).
Active state Radiologic Technologist license
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, and radiation protection.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare, position, and instruct patients for imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists and physicians.
Follow all radiation safety standards, including proper shielding and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
Verify patient identity and imaging orders before performing procedures.
Document patient information, imaging procedures, and technical data accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
Ensure imaging rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs as needed.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control policies, and facility protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
