Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Radiologic Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT) Certifications: Current CPR Certification, California issued Fluoroscopy Permit, Current ARRT licensure Must-Have: - EPIC EMR experience - Previous traveler experience preferred Description: The primary responsibilities include positioning patients for x-ray procedures of various body parts including chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle. Performs imaging procedures at a level not requiring direct supervision. Operates X-ray equipment, processes images, and documents into PACS. Provides basic patient care under the supervision of the clinic nurse. May perform selected procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. Patient care includes obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, obtaining specimens, preparing patients for clinician evaluation, and assisting clinicians. Ensures the area is orderly and well-stocked with supplies and equipment. May float to Main Radiology as needed. Holiday coverage is required.
