This specialized role requires previous experience in Interventional Radiology and a work environment that demands high-level skills in a challenging setting. Key Responsibilities of the IR Tech

Perform interventional radiology procedures including dialysis work, neph tubes, and arteriograms
Utilize and maintain equipment such as single plane (GE) and biplane (Philips) systems
Prepare and circulate for neurointerventional procedures like cerebral arteriograms and thrombectomies
Collaborate with a team of techs and RNs to ensure comprehensive patient care
Administer moderate sedation and ensure patient safety during procedures

Requirements of the IR Tech

BLS certification
Previous experience in Interventional Radiology (scrub and circulate)
Experience in neurointerventional Radiology (scrub and circulate)
Desirable: Vascular OR and Cath Lab experience
