Key Responsibilities of the Travel Radiologic Technologist
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment in accordance with physician orders
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and safety throughout each procedure
  • Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness
  • Adhere to all radiation safety protocols and guidelines
  • Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients during exams

Requirements
  • ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist)
  • Active New York state license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a radiology/imaging setting
  • BLS certification
