Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled SMH Interventional Radiology Rad Tech for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role focuses on Neurosurgery/neuroscience and requires a professional with relevant experience. Key Responsibilities of the SMH Interventional Radiology Rad Tech
  • Demonstrates competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning, producing radiologic images of diagnostic quality.
  • Works cooperatively with department members to resolve problems expediently.
  • Displays flexibility, team spirit, compassion, respect, politeness, and accountability with customers.
  • Demonstrates sensitivity to patient rights in all interfaces.
  • Administers oral contrast per exam and assists Radiologist during procedures.
  • Operates all x-ray equipment, CR and DR systems proficiently.
  • Reports equipment malfunctions and completes all assigned procedures timely.
  • Maintains medication security to authorized personnel only.
  • Demonstrates competency in health care services for all age groups.
  • Participates in hospital performance improvement activities.
  • Maintains confidentiality using secure login details.
  • Answers technical inquiries from physicians or hospital personnel efficiently.

Requirements of the SMH Interventional Radiology Rad Tech
  • BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • Two (2) years of experience
  • Licensing in the state of NY
  • Neurosurgery/Neuroscience Experience
  • AART Certification
