Overview
Radiology Tech – CT Technologist needed for a travel assignment in Austell, GA. This position starts 08/24/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,800 to $1,932. Responsibilities
- Independently perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols.
- Position patients, confirm identification and consent, and tailor imaging parameters to obtain diagnostic-quality studies while prioritizing patient safety.
- Set up CT equipment, adjust gantry and exposure parameters, and manage contrast administration as appropriate.
- Ensure proper patient comfort and age-appropriate care across varied patient populations.
- Review images for technical adequacy and document procedures in the patient record; communicate results to the radiology team.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area; monitor equipment function and participate in safety and quality processes.
Requirements
- Active ARRT CT certification or eligibility; Georgia radiologic technologist license or eligibility.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (current).
- Ability to independently perform CT imaging procedures and ensure diagnostic-quality results.
- Flexibility to work nights and meet department needs; comfortable with standing for extended periods and assisting patients as required.
- Prior CT imaging experience or clinical CT rotation preferred.
