Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT imaging on GE CT platforms (VCT 64-slice, HD750, Frontier 64-slice) following established protocols
- Administer IV contrast and monitor patients during imaging; execute CT angiography (CTA) and stroke protocol imaging as required
- Support trauma imaging workflows; ensure high-quality images and accurate labeling; assist radiologists in interpretation
- Operate the PACS system and document workflows in the electronic charting system (EPIC); maintain patient safety and radiation precautions
- Provide imaging services for diverse age groups (neonates to geriatrics) and collaborate with ER staff and radiology team; flex between CT and ER as needed
Requirements
- Certifications: ARRT-CT and ARRT-R; BLS
- CT experience: minimum 1 year (note: some postings reference 2 years; please confirm with recruiter)
- GE CT experience within the last 12 months
- Stroke protocol experience; CTA capability; IV contrast administration and IV starts
- PACS experience; Philips PACS preferred
- Availability to work a 5x8 day schedule with call; must commit to 3 of the 5 major holidays; travelers only (locals not accepted)
