Overview
CT Technologist (Travel) – CT Tech, Everett, WA. This travel assignment is for a hospital-staffed CT department operating within a Level II Trauma Center setting, with coverage across main CT and the Emergency Department as needed. Start date is 07/20/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Shift is 4x12-hour days. Weekly pay ranges from $2,782 to $2,920. Guaranteed hours are 60 hours per 2 weeks ( traveler may be called off for 1 shift per 2-week period ). The role includes weekend coverage and call, with active float between the Main CT unit and the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging using GE CT scanners (recent hands-on GE CT experience including 64-slice and related platforms) to perform head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis imaging, including CT angiography and perfusion studies.
- Execute stroke protocols and acute stroke workflows, including CTA, with attention to time-sensitive imaging and rapid radiology communication.
- Prepare and administer contrast media, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and ensure correct dosing and safety procedures.
- Position and shield patients, maximize image quality, and uphold radiation safety and infection control standards.
- Perform CT imaging across assigned units and collaborate with radiology physicians, ED staff, and IR as needed; document results in the electronic charting system (EPIC) and communicate findings promptly.
- Manage workflow during high-demand periods, including STAT imaging and occasional cross-coverage between Main CT and the Emergency Department.

Requirements
- Certifications: ARRT-CT and ARRT-R; BLS required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year CT experience; GE CT experience within the past year required; stroke protocol experience essential
- Travel specifics: First-time travelers accepted only if they have at least 2 years of CT experience; must be able to work 4x12-hour day shifts with call and weekend coverage
- Other: Active licensure/credential verification as required; be prepared to disclose any background/licensing items (Nursys) at submittal; EPIC charting experience preferred; ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced CT environment with float to ED
