Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital
This is a travel temporary assignment in a 173-bed short-term acute care hospital serving the Central Valley region. The assignment includes night shifts and requires experience with the GE EVO CT Unit. The role supports radiology services across CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy as needed.

Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosis.
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy as assigned.
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate destination, ensuring image quality and data integrity.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging data, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manage supply inventory.
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT-Radiography (RT(R)) and ARRT-CT (RT(R)(CT)) certifications; California state Radiologic Technologist license required; Advanced CT certification required.
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent imaging experience in the field.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Fluoroscopy license and Venipuncture certification preferred; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required.
- Additional: Must have experience with the GE EVO CT Unit; able to work the night shift (Fri–Sun nights, 8:00 PM–8:30 AM) as part of a 3x12 schedule; ability to work in a hospital setting as a traveling clinician.
