Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging for designated body regions across neonate to geriatric patients, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Operate Siemens CT scanners in a Level 2 trauma center environment, with proficiency in trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine exams.
- Prepare and position patients, administer contrast as required, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Produce high-quality images and collaborate with radiologists and other technologists; document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.
- Adapt imaging protocols for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services; uphold radiation safety, infection control, and quality standards.
- Participate in holiday coverage requirements: two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (e.g., the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
Requirements
- Active ARRT CT certification
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience in a high-volume or trauma-centered setting
- Proficiency with Siemens CT scanners
- Ability to work night shifts; 10-hour rotations; 40 hours per week
- Willingness to work holiday coverage as described in the responsibilities
