Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to acquire high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic use.
- Perform a range of imaging procedures, including CT scans, general radiography, and fluoroscopy, as indicated by orders.
- Position patients accurately, select appropriate protocols, adjust technical factors, and optimize image quality while ensuring patient safety.
- Implement radiation safety practices per ALARA principles; verify shielding, exposure parameters, and patient condition during procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to deliver timely imaging services and accurate documentation.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, monitor image quality, and adhere to department policies and quality control standards.

Requirements
- Ability to operate CT equipment and perform CT imaging per department protocols.
- Competence to perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as needed.
- Strong attention to patient safety, comfort, and effective communication in a fast-paced setting.
- Availability to work rotating 12-hour shifts on a 13-week travel assignment.
- Ability to work in a hospital imaging department in Portland, Oregon, as a travel clinician.
