Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures following physician orders and department protocols
- Properly position patients, select exposure factors, and operate radiology equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Verify patient identity and requisitions; ensure correct labeling, archiving, and documentation of imaging studies
- Maintain radiation safety practices, shielding, sterile technique, and infection control; adhere to ARRT standards and BLS policies
- Collaborate with radiology team and referring clinicians; communicate findings and ensure image quality and accuracy
- Assist with holiday and shift coverage as required by the assignment guidelines
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiologic procedures
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and comply with safety and documentation standards
- Availability to start October 12, 2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment
- Eligibility or preference for candidates residing outside a 50-mile radius of the assignment location
