Key Responsibilities of the Radiology Technologist:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for exams while ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate radiographic equipment and maintain radiation safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses
- Review and verify imaging quality before submission for interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all HIPAA and hospital documentation requirements
- Assist in maintaining equipment and monitoring inventory of imaging supplies
Requirements of the Radiology Technologist:
- Active ARRT (R) certification and Oklahoma state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current BLS certification
- 0-6 months of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
