Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. This assignment takes place in a hospital-based radiology department with MRI and cross-imaging services.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations for adult and pediatric patients, adhering to imaging protocols and safety standards; position patients, select sequences, optimize image quality, and monitor patients during scans.
- Administer IV contrast injections as ordered and within established safety guidelines; monitor for adverse reactions and document findings.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR (EPIC) and communicate imaging results to radiologists and referring clinicians.
- Provide cross-imaging support as needed, including CT and X-ray within the radiology department; collaborate with the imaging team to ensure timely study completion.
- Maintain MRI equipment and perform basic QC checks; report malfunctions and assist with trouble-shooting when appropriate; uphold MRI safety and infection control practices; follow dress code and patient privacy standards.

Requirements
- ARRT MRI certification required; MRI Certification Verification (equivalency) accepted
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
- Teaching facility experience required
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- CT/X-ray training; ability to work within a hospital radiology department and participate in on-call and weekend rotations
- Reliable transportation required; flexibility to cover variable start times and on-call shifts
