Overview
MRI Technologist – Radiology MRI specialty in Everett, WA, United States. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,905–$1,987 per week. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks (traveler may be called off 1 shift per 2-week period). Shift: 3x12-hour days. Work setting: a hospital with Level II trauma designation, two MRI rooms, and coverage across outpatient, inpatient, and ED. The role includes float coverage to a sister location as needed.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations across various body regions with strict adherence to safety protocols and patient care standards
- Screen patients for contraindications, obtain orders, prepare the exam room, and position patients and coils for optimal image quality
- Administer gadolinium-based contrast when indicated and trained, monitor for adverse reactions, and manage contrast safety
- Acquire and optimize MRI sequences, adjust parameters, and ensure accurate labeling and timely image posting to PACS
- Collaborate with radiologists to review images, address incomplete studies, and provide precise documentation in the charting system
- Provide patient support and comfort, monitor patients during procedures, and assist with rapid workflow changes when floating across Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, and a sister location as needed

Requirements
- Certification: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) required (hard stop)
- Licensure: Washington state MR license in-hand required
- Credentials: BLS certification required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year MRI experience (externships do not count)
- Other: Ability to work across outpatient, inpatient, and ED settings; willingness to float as needed; successful completion of background checks and credential verification prior to start; references: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start
