    MRI Tech in a radiology department, Needham, MA — travel temporary assignment starting 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,708 to $2,879 per week with a guaranteed 72 hours every two weeks. Shift is a rotating 5x8 pattern (Day/Evening) in a hospital setting.

    Responsibilities
    - Perform MRI examinations according to order and department protocol, ensuring image quality and patient safety.
    - Position patients, select appropriate coil and sequences, and adjust imaging parameters to optimize diagnostic detail.
    - Screen patients for contraindications to MRI and monitor for safety throughout the scan; communicate clearly with patients to minimize anxiety.
    - Verify patient identity and procedure details, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation.
    - Maintain MRI equipment and room readiness; report any malfunctions and participate in routine quality control and safety checks.
    - Provide efficient patient flow in a high-volume setting, targeting the daily caseload while upholding standards of care.

    Requirements
    - ARRT certification (verification) required; BLS (AHA) required.
    - Minimum 2 years of independent MRI experience in an acute care environment.
    - Ability to work in a rotating Day/Evening schedule and adapt to hospital workflow.
    - Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality MRI studies with attention to safety and patient comfort.
    - Must be able to operate in a fast-paced, clinical setting with 30–35 cases per day on average.
    - Commitment to professional practice standards and ongoing competency.
