This travel assignment requires ARRT-MR certification, a permanent NY State Radiology License in hand prior to starting, and IV contrast/injection certification. The role focuses on MRI with potential CT capability if required by exams.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI exams for adult and pediatric patients, including patient positioning, coil selection, and sequence adjustments to meet clinical indications.
- Administer IV contrast for MRI exams per protocol and monitor patients for any adverse reactions; assist with CT contrast administration when CT exams are performed.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images, verify orders, and communicate findings or concerns with radiologists.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in the Epic system and adhere to department safety and infection-control protocols.
- Float within the radiology department as needed to support MRI and related imaging services, including CT when credentialed.
- Adhere to safety policies for MRI environments and maintain patient comfort and safety throughout exams.

Requirements
- Active ARRT-MR certification
- NY State Radiology License (permanent) in-hand prior to start; temp licenses not acceptable
- Minimum 2 years MRI experience
- IV contrast/injection certification
- CT experience preferred or required if performing CT exams
- Siemens MRI experience preferred (Espree); Epic charting experience preferred
