Responsibilities
- Aids physicians in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems.
- Operates x-ray and physiological equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as directed by the care team.
- Maintains radiology equipment, ensures proper calibration, and records test results accurately.
Requirements
- Active California license as a Radiologic Technologist or eligible for licensure.
- ARRT certification (R) or equivalent credential.
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program (associate degree or higher).
- CPR/BLS certification.
- 1 year of radiology experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform duties in a hospital setting and participate in a travel assignment.
