Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients with complex medical conditions and those requiring advanced interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for up to 1-3 ICU patients, including managing patients on ventilators.
- Utilize bedside shift report for patient hand-offs, ensuring continuity of care.
- Administer advanced medical treatments and procedures, including CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, and phlebotomy.
- Manage post-operative care for cardiovascular surgeries, including CABG procedures and handling advanced equipment such as Swan Ganz catheters.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms effectively.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 36 months of RN experience, with at least 12 months in an ICU setting.
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale.
- BSN or higher education is preferred, along with advanced certifications (e.g., TNCC) and experience with neuro procedures.
